Pre-Sharp Cutting Dies

These dies are bent from pre-hardened and pre-sharpened steel. These are not as durable and strong as our forged dies but are great for lighter materials and short run cutting. Some key features of Pre-Sharp dies include:

-Tolerance of (+/-) 1/32"

-Economical option for light materials and low volume cutting

-Faster lead times as compared to other die types

-Edge hardened for durability

-Can be resharpened, but has a limited life compared to a fully forged die

-Common heights include 19mm (3/4"), 32mm (1-1/4"), and 50mm (1.968")
